Meet the Dean

Dear Pirates,

Welcome to East Carolina University and Pirate Nation! Whether you are new or a continuing student, please know that you are an important part of our campus community and we are glad to have you here!

I am privileged to serve as your Dean of Students and my focus is on creating a healthy, safe, and inclusive campus where you can maximize your personal potential, while pursuing your educational dreams.  It is my honor to provide the leadership for several centers and services.  In serving as a senior advocate for students, I work closely with faculty, staff, and student leaders to enhance the quality of life for all students at the university.

East Carolina University is a wonderful and truly amazing institution that offers so  much. Take your time to explore and embrace the rich opportunities that are before you. From the performances, to lectures and exhibits, to extraordinary campus events and athletic competitions, ECU holds something for everyone!
